Native iOS and Android apps are rare in the sweepstakes casino space. Most competitors — WOW Vegas, Fortune Coins, Crown Coins — offer browser-only mobile access. McLuck's dedicated apps aren't just a convenience feature; they materially change the day-to-day experience.
What you get with the app that you don't get on mobile browser:
Direct link: Use our App Store direct link ↗ to go directly to the McLuck app page — no search required.
Note on iOS registration: You can register a new McLuck account directly through the app. The welcome bonus (7,500 GC + 2.5 SC) applies regardless of whether you register through the app or the website.
Alternatively: Visit McLuck on your Android browser — the site displays a download prompt for the app.
Available states (Android): The Google Play listing specifies availability in 35 US states + DC. If you're in a restricted state, the app may not appear in search results or will show as unavailable.
| Feature | App | Mobile Browser |
|---|---|---|
| Biometric login | ✅ Touch ID / Face ID | ❌ No |
| Push notifications | ✅ Yes | ❌ No |
| Apple Pay / Google Pay | ✅ In-app purchase flow | ⚠️ Varies by browser |
| Game load speed | ✅ Faster | ⚠️ Slightly slower |
| Full game library | ✅ Yes | ✅ Yes |
| New game releases | ⚠️ 1–2 week lag | ✅ Immediate |
| Session persistence | ✅ Stays logged in longer | ⚠️ Times out more frequently |
| Storage required | ✅ ~180MB (iOS) | ✅ None |
| OS update dependency | ⚠️ Requires iOS 14+ / Android 6+ | ✅ Any browser |
Verdict: The app wins for regular players. The browser works fine if you prefer not to install anything, but you lose biometric login, push notifications, and faster load times.
Identical to the desktop version — all 1,250+ games, same category filters (Megaways, Hold & Win, Cascading, Jackpot Play, New, Popular, Favorites). Search bar works by game name. Games are optimized for touchscreen — swipe gestures work where applicable.
The app makes claiming the daily bonus a 10-second task: open app → bonus appears as a pop-up → tap "Collect." No navigation required. This is genuinely faster than the web version.
Tap the "Get Coins" button → select package → pay with Touch ID via Apple Pay or Google Pay. The in-app purchase flow is the fastest way to buy GC at McLuck. Standard packages available; the first-purchase special ($9.99 for 50,000 GC + 25 SC) appears for new buyers.
SC redemptions can be submitted through the app. Navigate to wallet → Redeem → select method → submit. KYC document upload is also available through the app (camera access required).
All active tournaments appear in the app's Promotions tab. Push notifications alert you when new limited-time promotions go live — useful for catching bonus code drops before they expire.
Live dealer games are fully accessible through the app. Stream quality on both iOS and Android was stable during our testing, with no significant buffering on a standard 4G connection.
| Version / Date | What Changed |
|---|---|
| March 2026 | Daily login streak tracking UI redesigned; visual streak counter added |
| February 2026 | Quest system introduced — complete daily tasks for bonus GC rewards |
| January 2026 | Touch ID / Face ID login enabled for Android (was iOS-only previously) |
| October 2023 | Android app first released |
| October 2023 | iOS app first released |
McLuck updates the app regularly — more frequently than most sweepstakes casino apps. The changelog in the App Store shows updates have been consistent since launch, which is a positive signal for long-term support.
Android: occasional crashes on older devices
Android reviews on Google Play note occasional crashes on devices running Android 8 or below. On Android 10+, we experienced no crashes during 30 days of testing.
Promotional pop-ups on launch
Both iOS and Android show 2–3 promotional pop-ups when you open the app. These require tapping "X" before you reach the lobby. It's a minor friction point noted across multiple reviews.
Live dealer load time on slower connections
Live dealer games require a stable connection (5 Mbps+ recommended). On 3G or weak 4G, initial stream load can take 10–15 seconds. Once loaded, stability is generally good.
New games appear in web version first
If you're tracking new game releases, check the web lobby — new additions typically appear there 1–2 weeks before the app version is updated.
iOS (4.3★ from 12,000+ ratings):
Positive themes: smooth gameplay, easy daily bonus claiming, fast Touch ID login, good game variety.
Negative themes: promotional pop-ups on launch, occasional issues with GC purchase crediting (usually resolved within 24 hours by support).
Google Play (3.9★):
Positive themes: convenient, good slot variety, reliable payouts.
Negative themes: Android-specific stability issues on older devices, some users report slower load times than iOS.
The gap between iOS (4.3★) and Android (3.9★) is consistent with what we observed during testing — the iOS app is more polished. McLuck's development resources appear to prioritize iOS, with Android receiving updates shortly after.
